I love this Queen set, watch it over and over. Also Love the David Bowie parts, esp when he sings with Annie Lennox. Though I have never seen Live Aid USA, I don't even know who was there. Goes in search of... Oh that is wild... lol, just watched Ozzy Osborne, Live Aid USA. Hehe

the live aid was a big 2 day fundraiser/charity event for i believe Ruwanda; (i might have the wrong country) and they were in a very bad drought and this concert had sooo many big names but Queen was the big name and they were godlike!!

I was in that crowd. Still got my Live Aid ticket today. Nicely laminated now and locked up in a safe. Freddie destroyed all the other performances. He wasn't just a singer, he was a Entertainer. He had a throat infection that day. Backstage Dr recommended to him not to perform. Amazing when he came back on later night for the encore

Can I recommend a completely different genre? It's a capella. Just the human voice, doing everything. The group Pentatonix has done Bohemian Rhapsody, but if you want to try them out, their version of Hallelujah is a great start. They have been nominated for 5 Grammy's, have won three, and have a star on the walk of fame. (A capella = no instruments. In this case, a beat boxer who can also play a cello, with four of the most talented singers of the last century.)

This is bad ass!! Love to see pops showing interest in son's music with an open mind - even though it may not be his style.

60,000+ MOST of them IF they were alive were in their nappies when Freddie was still alive. Singing a song in time in tune, as good as most chiors without musical direction. 30 + years after his death. That's what you call success!

"That's gotta be so loud" You bet it was! We couldn't get tickets, so we went to a cousin's house in Wembley a block over from the stadium. We could hear it and we and other households were sing along out of their bedrooms and their back gardens. It was a perfect summer's day. It's fascinating isn't it, that music streaming is killing off music radio, and podcasting is killing talk radio.

Generation X passing this on to their kids is one of the greatest things to witness on UA-cam. I hope the younger generations pass it on too.

I wasn't a Queen fan at all, but after that day..I was lol! I remember it was very hot that day in Wembley Stadium July 13th 1985 but it was worth it, best day in my life! 👏👏🇳🇱

Sorry, "Radio Gaga" IS my favorite! (And Lady Gaga's too.) I vaguely remember being told that there was a famine in Africa when I was in 3rd grade, so that corresponds with LiveAid... but I don't remember watching on TV. I don't remember, ask my mom.

Im probably your age and I never appreciated Queen in the 70’s. I watched this live on TV at the time but it didn’t come across as powerful as now. Its magic Maybe we just get nostalgic with age
